The only evidence was the CCTV recording.The log files left behind are obvious that the bank was hacked. It was at this point that the command, "Take the money bitch," appeared in the log file, and possibly on the ATMs screen as well to signal the money mule to grab the bills and go,’ a security analyst from Kaspersky told Motherboard in an interview. The logs included one line in English, stating ‘Take my money, bitch. The method was used to target two Russian banks that night.’ "Our theory is that during the uninstall [of the malware], something China Upper thread clamping (5 stitches) went wrong with the malware and thats why the [log] files were left," says Sergey Golovanov, principal security researcher with Kaspersky in Russia, who investigated the heists, reported Motherboard

Team members Harshita Diddee, Shivam Grover, Shivani Jindal and Divyanshu Sharma created a privacy-aware smartphone application called VisionAir which uses photos of the horizon taken from a smartphone to estimate air quality. Federated learning only uploads the features extracted from the images without uploading the smartphone images to train the machine learning model.The team winning the second prize --also from Bharti Vidyapeeth College of Engineering, Delhi – addressed air quality since India has 14 of the 15 most polluted cities in the world according to the World Health Organization’s Global Ambient Air Quality Database. This enabled them to detect emotion, background noise, and Indian accents in the audio with improved precision.
The VisionAir team also enables other developers to create new machine learning models by open-sourcing a diverse set of smartphone images taken across several locations in Delhi, from different phones with ground truth air quality data from Central Pollution Control Board monitors and Airveda sensors.
